Great Gift for people with a fireplace!

This is what I just ordered for my dad; which is in his 70s. He has recently put a nice insert in their fireplace and bought a log splitter. The wood is behind the house and he has been hauling it to the side porch in a wheel barrel. I think he will enjoy using this Log Caddy. It will be easier to maneuver without logs shifting and possibly toppling over --especially in the snow. AND, I think he can just pull it up the porch steps to his smaller wood pile on the covered porch.

And bonus for me --the price on this has gone down about $9 since I first placed it in my Amazon cart last month.

Landmann USA Log Caddy with Cover

Product Features
• Neatly stacks wood for storage or transport
• Canvas cover includes to protect wood from dampness
• Large Pneumatic tires to easily transport wood
• Easy Assembly

Here is a review that I found helpful:
"No first-hand experience myself, but my father has 3 wood-burning stoves which require much hauling of wood in the New Hampshire fall and winter. He said the neumatic tires are a back-saving must-have, allowing him (at almost 70 years old) to haul wood up the steps into the house without exhaustion."

Here is the canvas tote that I also bought for Dad to take the wood from the porch to the fireplace.
